So, finally. After much mucking about, testing and tweeting… We are here. Sort of.
A small number of products are now available for purchase, including copies of the 2016 edition of the Little Bundesliga Book, A5 prints from Hungarian derby duo Ferencvárosi TC and Újpest FC, and the much anticipated first run of Week 14 of the 1989/90 Oberliga Woche journal.
As I get my head around all of the nonsense involving VAT (yes, tomorrow is July 1st, a red-letter day for all of us online sellers) the store is only open at the moment for customers in the UK. I am of course anticipating a flood of interest from overseas, so will try and find a way of sorting the VAT issue so that (a) I am not left with having to deal with ridiculous red tape and end up as an unpaid tax collector, and (b) everybody will have a chance to own what will surely be an increasing range of products!
Further issues of Oberliga Woche are in the design stage already, as are match cards from all of the European competition ties of the 1970s and 1980d between West and East German teams. I will no doubt be taking on custom orders too as I go along, so if you have any wish lists you can ping me on Twitter either at my familiar handle @fussballchef or the new handle dedicated to this project, @StattoCards.
You will of course see the updates as they make their way onto the front line, and there will be regular announcements both in this blog and of course on Twitter.
Now that the Euros are over (for me at least!) I will have a little more time to spare!
